ups and downs
soccer is the worlds number 1 sport no question. soccer doesnt solve many problems but it does give recognition to problems yet provides retreat. ive reconized that in soccer its not just skill its also who you know. and even the best players lose out. im can say with 100% certainty there are players in the US that are better than the pros on t.v. a movie that i watched and has inspired me and showed me there is hope in the magic of soccer is pelada. its a movie about two players who where on the road for stardom in the MLS and womens pro leage who somehow did not make it. they travel the world looking for pick up games. the movie shows how many soccer players that had the dream of pro but how it was also taken from them. not only does it show past pros it shows the people that play the beautiful game world wide. The movie hit home with me about how many good people there are yet how its so easy to slip inbtween the cracks. i highly recomend you watch pelada because it shows why soccer is the most beautyful sport in the world and how soccer holds a dream in the minds of those who play. they play for the love of the game. the simple game all you need is a ball.

progress!
in soccer as in any sport to stand out as the individual that overshadows the rest of the team is the only way to get recognized to progress. but thats not all that you have to do its also about who you know in your soccer community. Getting to know coaches and talking to players on good teams are good ways to get on better teams or academies, college, etc. good rep equals good recruiting opportunities. ODP is good opportunity its the us national soccer Olympic team. try out for your region team, if you make that you play other regions and after if your good enough you get asked to tryout for the state team then the national team. In my personal progress I will get a opportunity to practice with the best soccer team in my area hopefully I make it.

challenges and where im at
for all the years i've played the game of soccer(11 years) the numbers of "good" players dwindle. and the best get picked up by academies i have learned that there are two ways to go in soccer to get to pro. there's the academies like the san jose earthquakes or la galaxy. or you play college. but the way to get to both is play on a very good team who goes to show case tournaments. thats where the scouts will look for players. Im currently on untied red 95 class 3c not the greatest team but i love them its my family. i practice tho with another team boca jr 94 who r current top 10 in state and well enough in nation. my coach is the coach of both of these teams he is my ticket to the earth quakes academy but i still have a year before I'm ready and he takes me to a tryout. i have confidence in my self for the long run and dreaming is half the battle wish me luck!

first blog
this is going to be a blog about my consideration of a possible job career. this job would be professional soccer player for the MLS. I have heard that only 1 percent of high school kids go on to play a professional sport. Yet from what Ive seen in soccer is the older i get the less great soccer players. I have the will and i have the potential lets see how far this goes.
