challenges and where im at

for all the years i've played the game of soccer(11 years) the numbers of "good" players dwindle. and the best get picked up by academies i have learned that there are two ways to go in soccer to get to pro. there's the academies  like the san jose earthquakes or la galaxy. or you play college. but the way to get to both is play on a very good team who goes to show case  tournaments. thats where the scouts will look for players. Im currently on untied red 95 class 3c not the greatest team but i love them its my family. i practice tho with another team boca jr 94 who r current top 10 in state and well enough in nation. my coach is the coach of both of these teams he is my ticket to the earth quakes academy but i still have a year before I'm ready and he takes me to a tryout. i have confidence in my self for the long run and dreaming is half the battle wish me luck!

  1. First of all, best of luck to you. Second, please try to use this blog as a place to refine your style. Great soccer players may be dwindling, but there's no shortage of pro athletes who are completely inarticulate. However, the star athlete needs to be MORE well-spoken than ever given the amount of media attention. :-)

Third, don't limit yourself to MLS. Take an opportunity to play WHEREVER it takes you. Often, to follow your dream, you gotta be willing to travel.

  2. Playing in college would be a great opportunity! College sports are one of the best ways to get noticed by a major league team. Several of my friends were recruited for different college teams for swimming. I know it's not the same sport, but it's also very competitive. And now they are setting themselves up successfully for further competition. Good luck to you!
